Mr. Bill Allerton, is the Chief Executive Officer of The Council on Quality and Leadership Canada (CQL Canada). Mr. Allerton is a visionary who spearheaded the development and implementation of this national quality improvement charitable corporation in 1994. Committed to providing vision and leadership to human services organizations, Mr. Allerton is knowledgeable and proficient in the application of quality improvement methods based on person-directed outcomes for people with disabilities. He leads organizations through customized learning activities resulting in responsive services through organizational performance improvement. An engaging speaker, trainer and writer, Mr. Allerton maintains a full schedule of speaking and training engagements. |

Maxine Johnson is employed as the Continuous Quality Improvement Manager with one of Ontario’s largest Associations for Community Living, Simcoe Community Services (SCS formerly BDAPSN ). Maxine is also an In House Trainer for SCS using the Personal Outcome Measures. Maxine became a provincial consultant/trainer with CQL Canada in March 2005.
Starting with Simcoe Community Services in 1982 she has held a variety of positions. Initially hired as a mediator she has worked part time through to an Area Supervisor in Accommodation Services.
Prior to her experience with SCS Maxine has worked in the areas of Adult Day Services, Youth in trouble with the law and the Elderly. |

Sherri Kroll has been a Provincial Consultant with CQL Canada since its inception in 1994. Throughout this time she has assisted service organizations to utilize Outcome Measures as a framework for individualizing supports and enhancing service quality
Sherri has experience in all facets of training including Self Assessment Workshops, Planning with Personal Outcomes, Rights Training, Developing Reliable Interviewing Skills and In-House Trainers, Quality Enhancement Analysis and Accreditation Reviews. Her experience has enabled her to customize training options to suit the uniqueness of the service organization.
Sherri is also employed as the Director of Organizational Development with Middlesex Community Living, a service organization in southwestern Ontario that has achieved a Three Year Certificate of Accreditation.

Maureen MacFayden has been with CQL Canada as Director of Accreditation/Senior Consultant since January 2004. Prior to that Maureen was the Director of Customer Relations for Community Living Mississauga, which was awarded a three year accreditation in 2003.
She was involved with Community Living Mississauga for over 25 years in a wide variety of positions.
Maureen was among one of the first individuals to be trained as a consultant with CQL Canada. She was actively involved in putting the outcomes into action through the Customer Relations Department and the Outcome Support Team within Community Living Mississauga. Maureen has traveled extensively conducting various training workshops and leading Accreditation Reviews.
Maureen is very committed to improving the quality of life for people with a disability. |

Janet Reansbury has over 30 years experience in human services including experience in direct support, management, consultation and training. Janet is Executive Director for Community Living Brant, an organization that offers a range of services and supports to over 350 individuals.
Janet has been involved with CQL Canada since it’s inception in the mid 1990’s and while she has facilitated various training sessions and participated on accreditation reviews her primary focus over the past few years has been Interviewer and Trainer Certification.
Through her home organization Janet was involved in the development of one of the first Rights Committees in the province. The model for this committee is still used and requested by many organizations today.
Janet’s principal interest continues to be the development of responsive services through organizational commitment to quality. |

613.969.7407 Hilary Tugwood has been a trainer/Reviewer for CQL Canada since 2002. She is certified in Personal Outcome Measures® for Adults, as well as Personal Outcome Measures® for Children and Youth. Hilary is also a trainer in Essential Lifestyle Planning, Person Centered Thinking. She has been a Reviewer on several agency reviews using both the Quality Measures® 2005 and the Personal Outcome Measures 2000 here in Canada and in the United States. She has extensive experience facilitating Self-Assessment Workshops and one-day Training Sessions; she has provided Rights Training for both staff and people who receive support, and reviewed organizational systems and assurances. Hilary has facilitated Person Centered Thinking workshops in Manitoba as well as Ontario. Hilary has a B.A. in Psychology and Human Development from the University of Guelph and has over 18 years of experience in the developmental disabilities field, working with children and families as well as with adults. She has a personal philosophy in human services that is based on respecting the dignity and rights of all people. Hilary is currently the Director of Accreditation at Plainfield Community Homes in Belleville, Ontario, who are working towards accreditation in 2009. |

Paul Wheeler is executive director of Semiahmoo House Society, a Surrey/WhiteRock, British Columbia, based provider of support and advocacy for individuals and families affected by disabilities. Paul is also a Person Centered Thinking /Essential Lifestyle Planning mentor/trainer with CQL Canada. He has conducted training in Manitoba and Ontario for CQL Canada. Originally trained as a social worker, he has been involved in the provision of social services through not for profit organizations for 30 years. One of the key concerns of Paul's professional life is developing methods of assisting employees to clearly understand, support and respond to the needs, desires and dreams of individuals and families. Paul trains others to use the Essential Lifestyle Planning (ELP) model of person centered planning, which was developed by Michael Smull and the ELP Learning Community. Paul has supported people around British Columbia to learn and use this model. |

Dawn has over 15 years experience working with people with disabilities. She has worked for organizations that support people with physical disabilities, the elderly, people with acquired brain injury, people with intellectual disabilities and those who have been dually diagnosed.
Dawn has been a consultant with CQL Canada since 1998 and facilitates sessions on a variety of subjects including Personal Outcome Measures, Rights, Self Advocacy, Planning, Basic Assurances®, and Overall Quality Improvement.
Currently Dawn works as the Quality Assurance Manager for Community Living Campbellford/Brighton leading all quality improvement initiatives and Accreditation processes.
