CQL Canada is pleased to have Janet Forbes, Executive Director of Community Living Winnipeg, as vice-president of its Board of Directors.

ACCREDITATION

CQL Canada has one quality review scheduled in 2009 in the province of Manitoba.

CERTIFICATION

There is currently one Certified Interviewer and one Certified In-House Trainer in Manitoba.

WORKSHOPS

In October, 2008 a Personal Outcome Measures Workshop^® was held in Winnipeg and was attended by 23 different organizations. A Rights Workshop was also held in October with participants from 22 organizations.

In April 2008 a Conference Style Self-Assessment Workshop was hosted by Community Living Winnipeg. Participants from 37 different organizations attended this event.  At this same time Community Living Winnipeg also hosted a Rights Cultivation Workshop and an Understanding and Exercising My Rights Workshop with attendees from across the province of Manitoba.

In February 2008 a Self-Assessment Workshop was conducted at DASCH Inc.in Winnipeg.

In 2007 CQL Canada has conducted Self Assessment Workshops  using the Personal Outcome Measures^® 2005 at L.I.F.E. Inc. (Winnipeg, Manitoba), Brandon Community Options (Brandon, Manitoba) and Community Living Winnipeg (These workshops were also open to a number of additional agencies.)

Also in 2007 Community Living Winnipeg hosted  a 2-day workshop on Person-Centered Thinking and a one day workshop on Introduction to Coaching.
